Concert: A Night of Jazz with Olivia Foschi, Gil Goldstein, and Friends

CONCERT RESCHEDULED!!!!

Olivia Foschi is a New Suffolk Resident, and we are very excited to have her perform for us again this summer!

Jazz singer Olivia Foschi just finished recording her sophomore album with the great Gil Goldstein and will be bringing our community a preview of the new material as well as some are traditional jazz standards. She wanted to make an album dedicated to her sons that would somehow capture the myriad of emotions they went through in these past few years. The songs were either written for them, inspired by them, or integral tunes within their daily routine.

“Each song represents a different aspect of this phase in my life as a woman and mother; the good and the bad, the sleepless nights and the banter, the giggles and the fights, the power and strength we need to have as parents juxtaposed to the feeling of utter exhaustion and debilitation”. Fleeting Windows is essentially a collection of little windows that provide a glimpse into this incredible journey of rediscovery.

Olivia Foschi - voice

Gil Goldstein - keys, accordion

Daniel Dickinson - flute, tenor and alto saxophone, clarinet

Iris Ornig - bass

Claes Brondal - drums

Bring your friends and family, and of course your blankets, chairs and picnic baskets!  We encourage you to walk or bicycle if possible.

NSCA Concert Series - Belle Voce

Location:  New Suffolk School Ball Field

This will be an amazing concert of the Soprano Duo: Dana Kowalsick and Kathryn Zukowsk, with their accompanist William Rozlack.

Dana and Katheryn met while working together at a local restaurant in 2005. Shortly after their meeting, they discovered they were both studying for their Bachelor Degrees in Music. It did not take them long to realize that their voices blended beautifully together. The two created the duo Belle Voci and have been performing on the North and the South Forks of Long Island ever since. It is time for these two beautiful performers to sing for us!  Some featured songs will include O mio babbino caro from Pucini, the famous Habanera from George Bizet’s Carmen, the Prayer by David Foster, the unforgettable Andrea Bocelli goodbye song Con te partiro and songs from American repertoire as well. Do not miss this very special performance!
