Come join the New Suffolk and North Fork Communities in supporting Rett Syndrome research.  

Lena Maun DeSantis is a North Fork Resident who's daughter Maren has Rett Syndrome, a genetic disorder causing significant disabilities. While debilitating, Rett is also potentially fully curable. We are holding the 2nd Annual Out Run Rett 5K Run / Walk on May 20 in New Suffolk to raise money for research. All funds raised go to the Rett Syndrome Research Trust and their efforts to support the first clinical trial using gene therapy to fix the gene responsible. 

Can't run/walk? Come join the fun and cheer others on--there will even be a bake sale run by the sweetest baker around.
